Circle of Security Parenting Course
Dec 13 @ 9:15 am – 11:00 am

The Library is hosting an 8-week parenting/caregiver workshop on Friday mornings in the Woonsocket Room from 9:15am-11am starting on November 1st. This is an 8-week series that runs through December 27th (no meeting on November 29th). The Circle of Security® Parenting™ program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened.

In this workshop series, parents and caregivers will be guided on how to: understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read the child’s emotional needs, support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions, enhance the development of your child’s self esteem, honor your innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure. Free child care and transportation will be available as needed. A Stop & Shop gift card will be raffled off at the end of each session. All parents/caregivers who complete the eight-week session will be entered into a final raffle. An introductory video is available for viewing on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wpz8m0BFM8.
Register for this informative series by calling Leslie at 401-767-4125 or by emailing lpage@woonsocketlibrary.org. Please leave your name and contact information when registering.

Bring your imagination. We supply the Legos! We will put your creation on display until the next Lego Club meets.

As these are the smaller Legos, an adult must be with the child in the room at all times for safety.
