Two hour workshop session for Parents of High School Students in grades 9-11 will take you through the college process. Sign up with Margaret by calling 401-767-4126. Please bring a laptop or tablet and log into some free sites for college money and info. Presented by financial expert Bob Sherman, author of many articles and books.

The Biomes Marine Biology Center will present an Introduction to Marine Animals. The program  will give children a close up look at some marine animals such as a Sea Star, Horse Shoe Crab  and Spider Crab This will be an interactive presentation that will show the animals and talk about how they move and eat. The program will end with a puffer fish  demonstration. Saturday February 23rd  2-3 &  3-4pm 2 classes exactly the same back to back each may have 10 participants each. Great for ages 5 & up with adult caregiver. Teen volunteers help younger students create a volcano. We supply the playdough, plastic dinos and trees, and you make it erupt with baking soda, vinegar and food coloring. Students may take their creation home!
