Two hour workshop session for Parents of High School Students in grades 9-11 will take you through the college process. Sign up with Margaret by calling 401-767-4126. Please leave your name and a contact phone number if no answer. There will be a short break in between hours and light refreshments available. Please bring a laptop or tablet and log into some free sites for college money and info. Presented by financial expert Bob Sherman, author of many articles and books.

The Biomes Marine Biology Center will present an Introduction to Marine Animals. The program  will give children a close up look at some marine animals such as a Sea Star, Horse Shoe Crab  and Spider Crab This will be an interactive presentation that will show the animals and talk about how they move and eat. The program will end with a puffer fish  demonstration. This program is appropriate for children 3&1/2 &up with an adult caregiver.  Tickets  will be available at the Children’s desk one week prior to the show.(Tuesday 2/12/19) Space is limited. You may call the Children’s room at 769-9044 Ext. 2.
