Genealogical Assistance

Our reference staff will provide assistance in your search in person, by telephone and email.

Black and white photocopies are available at $.20 per page. Color copies are $.30 per page. Double sided copies are cost per page. Copy sizes are 8 1/2 x 11 or 8 1/2 x 14.

Project LEARN offers English as a Second Language classes, GED classes and family literacy. Their main office is located at 55 Main Street, and the phone number is 769-4200.

Study Rooms

One quiet study rooms is available for up to 5 people. To reserve the room, please contact the Reference Desk at 767-4124.

To request to have a collection or project displayed for a month in one of the library’s display cases, please call Library Director Leslie Page at 769-9044.

You can register to vote at any time during operating hours at the library. See the Circulation Desk for forms.

The library has three notaries public on staff. Currently, they are available Monday and Wednesday 9:00AM to 9:00PM, and Tuesdays, Thursday, Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Notary service also available on open Saturdays from September to May from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Please call ahead at 401-769-9044 to make sure a notary is available for assistance. The service is free of charge. Patrons are limited to five items per person per day. Must bring valid form of photo identification and the person signing the document must be present and sign in  front of the notary.
