Technology To Serve Our Community
We make a point to have as many technological resources available for our visitors as possible. Whether you want to print something, need to brush up on your technical skills, or want to try out an iPad, we make all of our resources easily accessible.
Free Wi-Fi Throughout Library

Computer Stations
We have a selection of computers available for use as long as you have your Ocean State Libraries card with you. You can use the internet and utilize our color printers for only $0.25 per page. If all of the computers are in use, you can place a request for the next available machine.

Free Computer Help
Do you find yourself struggling with some of the technical elements of modern computers, such as Microsoft programs like Word or Excel? If you’re completely lost or even if you simply have a few questions, we can provide one-on-one assistance with our free computer help sessions. Simply call ahead to the Reference Department at 401-767-4124 and confirm availability for a computer help session.

iPads Available For In-Class Use
If you’re interested in trying out an iPad while you’re taking a Tech Tuesdays class (for 2022 TECH TUESDAY classes are on hiatus) at the library, we have them available as long as you have your Ocean State Libraries card available. You can surf the web easily and intuitively with its sleek design and responsive touch screen, and you can get comfortable in a chair while doing so. Please Note: Currently, iPad needs to be returned when Tech Tuesday session is over.
