Live and Learn

Open to caregivers and those experiencing memory loss.  Meets in the main program room when the library is open. Live & Learn is a social program for people with early memory loss offering new ways to compensate for memory changes. Contact Alz.org/ri at 1-800-272-3900 or email Margaret “Annie” Murphy at mmurphy@alz.org.  Group meets at Patriots Dinner, 65 Founders Dr, Woonsocket, RI on the last Wednesday of the month.

Preschool Storytime

Children will listen to stories, play with puppets puzzles and board books and make a paper craft to take home and enjoy.

Great for ages 2-5 years with adult caregiver.

Knitting Circle WR

This week held in the Woonsocket Room. Knitting Circle for ages 10 and up. A non instruction, minimal help gathering from 6:30-8pm. Contact jgroverharrislibrary@gmail.com for more information.

College Info for Parents

Two workshop sessions for Parents of High School Students in grades 9-11 will take you through the college process. Sign up with Margaret at mmcnulty@woonsocketlibrary.org or call 401-769-9044 x 5 for more information. Bring a laptop or tablet and log into some free sites for college money and info. Presented by financial expert Bob Sherman, author of many articles and books.

Autism Support Specialist

Family Support Specialist, Linda Brunetti, from Autism Project will be present for all families looking for information and support on Autism and other Developmental Disabilities. This program is provided by “Creating the Connections.”
