A real space station astronaut reads “Ava Twist Scientist” from space. After the story we will do a space themed craft like making space shuttles & rockets out of paper and doing a sink and float guessing activity. 3-4pm Monday August 19th Great for ages 3.5 and up with adult.
Author and RI educator Dana Gambardella reads from her two stories Mama Bear’s Magic and Grandma’s House. In Mama Bear’s Magic, Tiny Bear overcomes his apprehension for the bath because of Brother Bear’s modeling and Mama Bear’s clever approach. You can then tap into your own senses and experiences when the author’s memories of what she feels, tastes, smells, and sees come alive in Grandma’s House.
