Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing. Students will learn basic concepts of robotics and, working in teams, they will learn coding to instruct a simple robot to move in construction challenges. Prrsnted by the RI Computer Museum.

Henna art will be limited to 10 participants due to time and number of cones available. Ms. Pinky will be here to do the henna hand designs. There will also be designs you can practice with on paper before using the cones yourself and create your own hand designs. There will be a few cones at the end for participants to try on their own hands.
Light snacks, fruit juice, cookies and music from India.
Children under 10 must be with an adult caregiver who can give permission. Henna art last for little over a week.

Writer’s Workshop held in the Woonsocket Room to network, help cultivate writers and offer research skills for those interested in writing. Open to high school students and adults. Must contact the group leader first to reserve a spot in the workshop, call John Peacock at 401-332-8323. Workshop will be held twice a month in September, October and November.
