Open to caregivers and those experiencing memory loss.  Meets in the main program room when the library is open. Live & Learn is a social program for people with early memory loss offering new ways to compensate for memory changes. What Effect Are We Having On The Ice Caps?

Brian Kemper of Mobile Quest will present Underwater Labs. In this lesson we talk about the effect we are having on the Ice Cap, and what we can do  to help prevent further melting. participants then get to build and design waterproof labs. Appropriate for teens 11 and up.

Everything’s Connected – Audubon Society

Audubon Society Program  appropriate for ages 5 & up with an adult caregiver.The program  Everything’s Connected will discuss animal adaptations, food chains,food webs and ecosystems.

Make a Terrarium
Aug 24 @ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

The Teen and Children’s Librarians help teens make terrariums out of recycled jars using potting soil, gravel ,charcoal and live plants. Ages 11 & up.
