Brian Kemper of Mobile Quest will present Underwater Labs. In this lesson we talk about the effect we are having on the Ice Cap, and what we can do to help prevent further melting. participants then get to build and design waterproof labs. Appropriate for teens 11 and up.
Audubon Society Program appropriate for ages 5 & up with an adult caregiver.The program Everything’s Connected will discuss animal adaptations, food chains,food webs and ecosystems.

The Teen and Children’s Librarians help teens make terrariums out of recycled jars using potting soil, gravel ,charcoal and live plants. Ages 11 & up.
Wild Food foraging doesn’t have to take place far from home or in the deep forest! Join The 3 Foragers as they discuss trees, weeds, and plants that many people are using at home in their yard for landscaping that have surprisingly edible parts. You’ll recognize many of the weeds you have been pulling out and learn ways to incorporate them into your dinner. This program is for adults ages 18+.

Explore Earth: Our Changing Planet is a traveling exhibition for libraries. Explore Earth is part of the STAR Library Education Network (STAR_Net) led by the National Center for Interactive learning at the Space Science Institute. Exhibit partners include the American Library Association, The Lunar and Planetary Institute, and Afterschool Alliance. Explore earth is supported through a grant from the National Science Foundation.
