Edible Landscaping

Wild Food foraging doesn’t have to take place far from home or in the deep forest! Join The 3 Foragers as they discuss trees, weeds, and plants that many people are using at home in their yard for landscaping that have surprisingly edible parts. You’ll recognize many of the weeds you have been pulling out and learn ways to incorporate them into your dinner. This program is for adults ages 18+.

Fossil Program for Kids

Fossil enthusiast Steve Emma will be here to talk with kids and their families about all different kinds of fossils, particularly plant fossils. There will be an interactive presentation with samples of fossils. Kids will even be able to take home some fossils. Great for ages 6  & up with caregiver. Bees for Kids

Kids 8 & up and families can learn about how bees make honey, how beekeepers raise bees, and the process of pollination from flowers to fruits. Why are bees important? How can we help them thrive? Don’t worry there will be no stinging in this program! Normand Peloquin from Celestial Offerings will be here to answer your buzzing questions about bees. Beekeeping for Adults

Normand Peloquin of Celestial Offerings will talk about the science and art of beekeeping. This program is for adults and teens. We have another program for kids and bees with Normand on Thursday Sept 13th 6-7pm. Have you always wanted to be a beekeeper? What do beginners need to know. Already and expert? Discuss your bee topics with Normand. Find out about the importance of pollinators in our ecosystem. Learn about the different types of local honey our bees produce and more.
