The Citiblocs BlockParty:
Test your engineering skills with this fun afterschool STEAM program
Master Builders will bring thousands of precision cut
New Zealand Pine building blocks for 45 minutes of hands-on,
grades K-5 appropriate engineering!
Younger students will learn and practice principles of balance & building,
older students will learn about ratios and the importance of Engineering systems, all the while building towers, bridges & buildings.
This program is generously provided by Pow!Science! in Wakefield, RI.
Registration is suggested. Children must be with an adult at all times for safety.
Walk-ins welcome so long as there is space in the room This program takes place at the Woonsocket Harris Public Library.
Writer’s Workshop held in the Woonsocket Room to network, help cultivate writers and offer research skills for those interested in writing. Open to high school students and adults. Must contact the group leader first to reserve a spot in the workshop, call John Peacock at 401-332-8323. Workshop will be held twice a month in September, October and November.
