Great for ages 2 and up! Children must be with an adult at all times for safety.
Info for Volunteers ages 13-17. Please arrive at 12:00pm. We will serve refreshments for volunteers, go over the rules and assign game stations. At 12:45 we will go out into the room and set up our games and posters. 1pm open to the public. Break 2-2:30pm. Service hours end at 4 or 4:30 depending on needed clean up time. We have approximately 10 game stations and two people per game station are needed. We also have a craft room and other stations that need volunteers. Students may dress in costume, keeping in mind no scary costumes or clowns please. Your face must be visible, no masks, though faces and hair may be painted or decorated. Beacon students should see Mr. LeClair. Woonsocket High School students should see Ms. Koczera to register for this event. Other students see Ms. Chris at the Woonsocket Harris Public Library.
Monday Crafternoon at the Library. Craft a 14 inch Fall ribbon wreath. Class for adults 18 and up. Limit 15 participants. Signup required and a $10 materials fee due at signup. Signup at the circulation desk from Oct.1 to Oct. 16th. For more information, please call Margaret at 401-769-9044.
Lifespan Community Health Institute will be offering a free flu vaccination clinic at the Library on Saturday, November 9th from 10am – 12 pm. Eligibility requirements to receive the flu vaccination are: must be 19 years or older and a Rhode Island resident, or a non-resident who is employed in R.I. and receives health insurance through a R.I. employer. Please bring your insurance card. The vaccine will be provided for free regardless of whether the recipient is insured or uninsured.
