Explore Earth: Our Changing Planet is a traveling exhibition for libraries. Explore Earth is part of the STAR Library Education Network (STAR_Net) led by the National Center for Interactive learning at the Space Science Institute. Identifying Clouds with iPads

Using iPads, participants will be able to take pictures of clouds (weather permitting) and then come inside and match the types of clouds they see to our STARNet Cloud Activity Cards. Then use the photo editor on the iPad to outline your cloud or make drawings or faces of your cloud. Your image will be printed or emailed to you the following week, as the program ends at 4:45 and the library closes at 5pm on Fridays. Sign up is requested as iPads are limited in number. Children attending 1st & 2nd grade will read with a teen buddy. This is an opportunity for the children to practice their reading skills in a relaxed environment. The teens will earn community service hours for the time they volunteer. There is also a time for coloring and puzzles .Registration is required for both teens and children.
