Evening program for children and their families. Anne Marie Forer brings her guitar and music shakers for the little ones to use. Sing songs, fingerplays, movement activities and rhythm instrument play. Sing along and move to the rhythm of these songs for children and families. Selected Thursdays 6-7pm October 4 & 18 November 1, 15, 29 December 6 Great for ages 6 & under with adult. Caregivers attend with children. Walk-ins are welcome if there is space in the room. Learn techniques for making scars, bruises, and Halloween Zombie make up tips and more. Fake blood and face paint will be available for you to experiment with at the library. Some products may contain latex. Sign up by calling 769-9044 x3 or email efuqua@woonsocketlibrary.org. There will be snacks and Halloween cookie decorating as part of the program. Let us know if you have any food or latex allergies upon signing up. Open to students in Middle and High School only!

HAUNTED HISTORY will focus on the Varnum Memorial Armory and Museum; featured is the curator of the armory presenting several important pieces of RI history housed in their impressive museum, he may share a ghost story or two and it’ll be followed by a presentation of evidence collected by Ocean State Paranormal through several investigations there in 2 years. This is ONLY 1 of 2 lectures this year that will feature actual items from the allegedly haunted armory. Registration is required for this program and begins October 15th call 769-9044 x2  or stop by in person to register Presented by Community Care Alliance Early Intervention This 7 week series introduces children to songs stories and activities appropriate for ages 2-3.5 years. Some programs may include food like applesauce so please let us know if your child has any food allergies. Space is limited in this program.

Evening Program for children and families Thursday October 25th 6-6:45pm Michelle Skorupski and her 2 bunnies will be here for a 45 minute informational program on rabbit care. Children will hear a rabbit-related story then be introduced to how to care for a rabbit and what is required to have a pet rabbit. Michelle will bring her 2 bunnies for children to see and pet after the program. Program is great for ages 6-12. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver in the room at all times. Children ages 3& up with an adult caregiver will decorate a foam pumpkin shape  to take home and enjoy. This is a drop in event that will be held in the Children’s room from 2-3pm.
