Book Buddies wanted! This program gives children currently enrolled in 1st,2nd or 3rd grade a time to practice their reading skills . Children are partnered with a teen buddy. The children can read to their buddy or take turns. There is a time toward the end of each session to color or do puzzles together. Teens ages 12- 18 years old can accrue community service time while volunteering for Book Buddies. A volunteer application can be picked up at the Children’s desk. Registration is required. Ages 6 & under 1-2pm Ages 7-12 2:30-3:30pm If you have a child in both age groups do not worry speak with the librarian at the desk. May 1, 8, 15, 22, Wednesdays 10-:30-11:30am Children listen to stories, sing songs, play with puppets, puzzles and board books. Kids make a craft to take home and enjoy.   Located in the children’s program room. This is a new interactive storytime program that can be enjoyed by children ages 3-5 of all abilities and sensibilities with their adult caregiver. Sing our hello song, read a story, do fingerplays like Itsy Bitsy spider, and tell a story with our felt board. Then visit our sensory exploration stations. Register by calling 769-9044 x2 Walk-ins are welcome as long as there is space in the room. Cancellations will be posted on our Facebook page. Those who are registered will receive a phone call.

Great for ages 7 & up. Mrs. Phillips will bring her Robots Dash and Dot for students to learn fun coding programs. Students use a computer tablet to move the robots through mazes the students create. Great for beginners as well as those who have used Dash and Dot before.

Children ages 3- 6 with an adult caregiver are invited to spend an hour playing with homemade play dough. There will be cookie cutters and other supplies for the children to use. Just bring your imagination! Registration is required to make sure we have enough supplies for everyone. Registration begins Tuesday, 4/9/19. Stop by the Children’s desk or call 769-9044.

We supply the chocolate melts in a variety of colors and Oreo’s in a variety of flavors. Take a cake pop stick and attach it to the Oreo of your choice and dip it in chocolate.  Then choose from a variety of sprinkles to make your Oreo Pop decorative. Although there are no nut products in this program it is possible that some of the decorations or chocolate melts may be processed in a factory that also produces nuts.
