Book Buddies

Children currently enrolled in  1-3rd grade are paired with teen Buddies to practice their reading skills. They can read to their  buddy or be read to.  This is also a great opportunity for teens ages 12-17 to mentor younger children and accrue volunteer hours they may need. There will be a time  for coloring and or puzzles at the end of the program. Registration is required. Teens will need to fill out a permission form. Please stop by the Children’s desk or call 769-9044 Ext. 2

Thursdays 6-7pm Tunes & Tales for Tots will have you sing songs and make music with Anne-Marie Forer Includes fingerplays, movement activities and rhythm instrument play. Located in the children’s program room on selected Saturdays.   Bring your imagination. We supply the Legos! We will put your creation on display until the next Lego Club meets. As these are the smaller Legos, an adult must be with the child in the room at all times for safety.
