Story Time for ages 2-5 years with adult caregiver. 10:30-11:30am October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 Thundermist Healthy Nutriton Story Time 23rd Halloween Story Time 30th Kids can dress in costume and we will parade around the library. Children listen to stories, sing songs, play with puppets, puzzles and board books. Kids make a craft to take home and enjoy. Caregivers attend story time with children. Siblings welcome! 3:45 pm Book Buddies

Children currently enrolled in 1-3rd grade are paired with teen Buddies to practice their reading skills. They can read to their buddy or be read to. This is also a great opportunity for teens ages 12-17 to mentor younger children and accrue volunteer hours they may need. There will be a time for coloring and or puzzles at the end of the program. Registration is required. Registration begins Monday 9/23/19. Teens will need to fill out a permission form. Please stop by the Children’s desk or call 769-9044 Ext. 2
4:30 pm Writer’s Workshop

Writer’s Workshop held in the Woonsocket Room to network, help cultivate writers and offer research skills for those interested in writing. Open to high school students and adults. Must contact the group leader first to reserve a spot in the workshop, call John Peacock at 401-332-8323. Workshop will be held twice a month in September, October and November.

Community Care Alliance presents Musical Storytime A music and story program for ages 2-3.5 with one adult caregiver. Program is free and open to Woonsocket Residents. This 8 week series includes songs, stories, and craft. Some programs may involve food please let us know when signing up if you or your child has a food allergy.
