Open to caregivers and those experiencing memory loss.  Meets in the main program room when the library is open. Live & Learn is a social program for people with early memory loss offering new ways to compensate for memory changes. Story Time for ages 2-5 years with adult caregiver. 10:30-11:30am October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 Thundermist Healthy Nutriton Story Time 23rd Halloween Story Time 30th Kids can dress in costume and we will parade around the library. Children listen to stories, sing songs, play with puppets, puzzles and board books. Kids make a craft to take home and enjoy. Caregivers attend story time with children. Siblings welcome! 3:45 pm Book Buddies

Children currently enrolled in  1-3rd grade are paired with teen Buddies to practice their reading skills. They can read to their  buddy or be read to.  This is also a great opportunity for teens ages 12-17 to mentor younger children and accrue volunteer hours they may need. There will be a time  for coloring and or puzzles at the end of the program. Registration is required. Registration begins Monday 9/23/19. Teens will need to fill out a permission form. 6 weeks for adults 18+ taught by a certified instructor. 6:30-7:30 pm om Wednesdays, Oct.2, 9, 16, 23, 30 & Nov. 6. Signup begins Sept. 23rd with Margaret, call 401-767-4126. Leave name and number and you will receive a call back to confirm your spot. Health waiver to be signed at first class. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes. Beginner level, practice breathing and stretching techniques that you can practice at home to increase health and reduce stress.

Community Care Alliance presents Musical Storytime A music and story program for ages 2-3.5 with one adult caregiver. Program is free and open to Woonsocket Residents. This 8 week series includes songs, stories, and craft.   Some programs may involve food please let us know when signing up if you or your child has a food allergy.
