  Located in the children’s program room. This is a new interactive storytime program that can be enjoyed by children ages 3-5 of all abilities and sensibilities with their adult caregiver. Sing our hello song, read a story, do fingerplays like Itsy Bitsy spider, and tell a story with our felt board. Then visit our sensory exploration stations. Register by calling 769-9044 x2 Walk-ins are welcome as long as there is space in the room. Cancellations will be posted on our Facebook page. Those who are registered will receive a phone call. March 16th program cancelled.

This sensory play program can be enjoyed by children of all ages, abilities and sensibilities with their adult caregiver. Open to caregivers and those experiencing memory loss.  Meets in the main program room when the library is open. Live & Learn is a social program for people with early memory loss offering new ways to compensate for memory changes. Contact Alz.org/ri at 1-800-272-3900 for more information. Group meets at Patriots Dinner, 65 Founders Dr, Woonsocket, RI on the last Wednesday of the month.

Writer’s Workshop held in the Woonsocket Room to network, help cultivate writers and offer research skills for those interested in writing. Open to high school students and adults. Must contact the group leader first to reserve a spot in the workshop, call John Peacock at 401-332-8323. Workshop will be held twice a month in September, October and November.
