Live & Learn is a social program for people with early memory loss offering new ways to compensate for memory changes. Children currently enrolled in  1-3rd grade are paired with teen Buddies to practice their reading skills. They can read to their  buddy or be read to.  This is also a great opportunity for teens ages 12-17 to mentor younger children and accrue volunteer hours they may need. There will be a time  for coloring and or puzzles at the end of the program. Registration is required. Registration begins Monday 9/23/19. Teens will need to fill out a permission form. Writer’s Workshop held in the Woonsocket Room to network, help cultivate writers and offer research skills for those interested in writing. Open to high school students and adults. Leave name and number and you will receive a call back to confirm your spot. Health waiver to be signed at first class. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes. Beginner level, practice breathing and stretching techniques that you can practice at home to increase health and reduce stress.
