Kids 8 & up and families can learn about how bees make honey, how beekeepers raise bees, and the process of pollination from flowers to fruits. Why are bees important? How can we help them thrive? Don’t worry there will be no stinging in this program! Normand Peloquin from Celestial Offerings will be here to answer your buzzing questions about bees. Part of our free Explore Earth: Our Changing Planet is a traveling exhibition for libraries. Explore Earth is part of the STAR Library Education Network (STAR_Net) led by the National Center for Interactive learning at the Space Science Institute. Exhibit partners include the American Library Association, The Lunar and Planetary Institute, and Afterschool Alliance. Explore earth is supported through a grant from the National Science Foundation.
