Open to Middle and High School Students Build a safe saber using pvc pipe, foam insulation, and colorful duct tape. Library provides all the materials. It is free to join. Just bring yourself and if you want to have even more fun bring a  friend so that you can test your saber and battle with your friend at the end of the program. After building your saber, Ed will teach you the forms for defense (Jedi) and attack (Sith) and battle with a friend.

Before coming to the library, check in with Teen Services librarian Ed Fuqua to make sure there is space in the room. The game continues over weeks and there maybe times it is not easy for a new comer to join in also.   Usually takes place in the large program room next to the bathrooms but on occasion may be located in theh children’s program room. Crafty Kids Wednesday Each week explores a different type of art and artist From 3-4pm. Great for ages 8-12. They come up with ideas for skits and act them out at the library. Snacks are provided.   Program usually meets in the large program room next to the restrooms.
