Dance Fitness with Connie Every 1st, 3rd, & 4th (& sometimes 5th) Wednesday of the month from 6-7 pm. Connie Anderson leads an entertaining, fun filled evening of stretching and moving.  This program is designed for the older adult, but that doesn’t mean you won’t sweat! 3-4:30pm Teen Storytellers Learn to Act

Geared towards ages 11-18. Come to the library for a theatre class run by Community Care Alliance! This class focuses on skill-building through learning storytelling techniques. Young actors will create their own characters through playwriting and performance games and will eventually build their own story together. Join us every other Tuesday for music fun with Anne Marie Forer. It’s Time for Tunes-N-Tales, Everybody say Hello Tunes & Tales for Tots will have you singing songs and making music with Anne-Marie Forer. This program for children includes finger-plays, movement activities and rhythm instrument play. Tap your toes, and clap your hands, it is time for Tunes-N-Tales. Program is enjoyable for preschoolers of all abilities and sensibilities and their adult caregiver. Explore bins with beans and dinosaurs or paper and plastic animals. Play with store bought Play-doh. Colorful shapes, magnetic tiles and letters, cars and trucks and trains and a doll house all make for developing fine and gross motor skills. 4pm Halloween Party Treats

Wednesday October 11th  4-4:45pm Gummy worm dirt cups Chocolate & vanilla pudding with chocolate and vanilla cookie crumbles and assorted gummy candies and sprinkles. Bloody Orange Drink Sprite, Orange Drink, Orange Sherbet, Gummy Eyeballs and worms. Sprinkles. Great for ages 8 & up only with adults as this is a cooking class. We will make these treats as part of the program. People with chocolate allergies take note. No nuts associated with this program though it is possible an ingredient may be manufactured in a plant that produces nuts, like vanilla cookies.  Registration by phone is requested. 401-769-9044 x2 ...

10-11am Preschool Homemade Playdough with Ms. Beth

Great for ages 2-5 and their adult caregiver. 10-11am. Program is  enjoyable for preschoolers of all abilities and sensibilities. The playdough is homemade and recipe is available during the program.  We provide the rollers, plastic knives for cutting, cookie cutters for making designs, kid safe scissors, popsicle sticks and other items to make playdough fun.
