Writer’s Workshop held in the Woonsocket Room to network, help cultivate writers and offer research skills for those interested in writing. Open to high school students and adults. Program is Free and is great for ages 7 & up with adult.
Join Sensei Dan Guernon, for a demonstration on staying safe and knowing your surroundings. If your child walks home from school or to an afterschool activity or is just hanging out with friends in the park this is a great program to teach your child about staying safe and being aware of your environmental surroundings. What if you think someone is following you? What should you do? What things should your be aware of in your surroundings. The program will feature games, involving memory, observation, environmental awareness and movement. In these interactive games, participants may be asked to help out with demonstrations.
