Fossil enthusiast Steve Emma will be here to talk with kids and their families about all different kinds of fossils, particularly plant fossils. There will be an interactive presentation with samples of fossils. Kids will even be able to take home some fossils. Great for ages 6  & up with caregiver. Using iPads, participants will be able to take pictures of clouds (weather permitting) and then come inside and match the types of clouds they see to our STARNet Cloud Activity Cards. Then use the photo editor on the iPad to outline your cloud or make drawings or faces of your cloud. Your image will be printed or emailed to you the following week, as the program ends at 4:45 and the library closes at 5pm on Fridays. Sign up is requested as iPads are limited in number. Join our STEAM volunteer to look into the tiny world of plant microbes, animal insides, insects, pollen & spores and even textile fibers. We have 30 prepared slides to choose from.
